Little Gipper Spirit Essay Contest
What’s Your Passion?
The Little Gipper Spirit essay contest offers kids grades 1-8 an opportunity to share stories (500 word max) and artwork (scanned) about their passions and how they have shared them with their community. The important aspect of the essay submission is the combination of what your passion or hobby is AND how you have done something unique with it. For example, if you love animals, maybe you volunteer at an animal shelter. Or, if you love to help people, maybe you regularly volunteer at a soup kitchen. If music is your passion, have you shared it in a unique way with others? Do you lead, teach or motivate your peers or your community in a special way? This is Little Gipper Spirit! A selection of essays will be chosen by the Little Gipper Spirit team for publication in a book that will be sold online and at the Hammes Bookstore on the Notre Dame campus. Essays need not have any reference or connection to Notre Dame to be considered. Fans of all universities are welcome participants!
